About
Overview
Dr Maria Livada received her first degree in Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences from the National Technical University of Athens, her MSc in Systems and Control Engineering and her PhD in Control Theory from City, University of London. Prior to her present appointment as a Lecturer in Mechatronics (Education) she was a Visiting Lecturer at partner Institutions of the University of London and an Adjunct Lecturer at the Department of Informatics and Computer Engineering at University of West Attica in Greece.
She has also been a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Department of Economics at National and Kapodistrial University of Athens and a Research Fellow at the Systems and Control Research Centre at City, University of London. During that time she has participated in various EU / H2020 projects.
Her main research interests are in Network Theory, Modeling of Complex Systems, Control Theory, Mathematical Modelling, Dynamical Systems and Operations Research.
She is a member of IET and IEEE.
