Overview
Dr Maria Dymova is a Lecturer in Mathematics (Education), Programme Director for Mathematics Foundation Year (part of the integrated BSc degree Programmes) and UG Admissions Tutor for Mathematics Department. Dr Dymova is a Senior Fellow of HEA. Her education research interests include learning analytics, student engagement; active, flipped, blended learning; project-based learning, programme-level assessment. She gained her PhD in Applied Mathematics from Sheffield University. Her former employers include London Centres for Florida State and Northeastern Universities, Université Paris-Dauphine, École Supérieure de Commerce de Paris, University of Greenwich, Kaplan International Colleges.
