Overview
Georgia currently teaches on the MSc Psychological Therapies with Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner. She is the Module Lead for PSM1012.
This MSc course enables students to train as Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners and qualify for paid employment within NHS Talking Therapies services. Students develop skills in the assessment and treatment of depression and anxiety, alongside opportunities to engage in master’s-level research and specialised mental health modules. The programme combines a clinical qualification with a strong foundation in research and contemporary mental health practice.
Prior to joining City St George’s, Georgia worked within mental health care for over 10 years across hospital and charity settings. The majority of her experience has been within the NHS, including NHS Talking Therapies services delivering Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy interventions. She is a BABCP accredited Practitioner.
