Overview
Prof Dan Lindfield Dan is a Consultant Ophthalmologist specialising in complex glaucoma and cataract surgery. He is considered a key opinion leader (KOL) in both the MIGS (Glaucoma) space and Cataract Surgery. He has published 38 peer reviewed papers and won 18 national and international prizes to date. He regularly speaks around Europe, USA, India and Asia. His NHS practice is Royal Surrey in Guildford. He won a national patient safety award in 2021 for innovative glaucoma care during covid in addition to being twice named amongst the top ophthalmologists worldwide on The Ophthalmologist Power List (2017, 2018). He has a passion for teaching; holding a diploma in medical education and holdings positions at NHS England as training programme director of the KSS training programme & Head of School. He has served on the Royal College of Ophthalmologists NOD (cataract) committee.
