Overview
Angela began her legal training career at Hogan Lovells solicitors. She later transferred to the Bar, specialising in Criminal Defence and Employment Law.
Angela has a wealth of experience in legal training, including module leadership, curriculum design, and course development for Professional Law programmes. Angela has taught Criminal Law, Evidence, and Research Skills on LLB programmes and designed an integrated LLB and SQE degree programme. Angela has also created and presented online CPD legal training courses for lawyers.
Currently on a research career break, Angela is pursuing her doctorate at the City Law School. Her research examines the socio-legal and psychological effects of racialised stop and search practices in marginalised London communities.
Angela is a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society (GMBPsS) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Authority (FHEA).
