About
Overview
Dr Amit Shah is a member of the Representation Theory Group at City St George's.
His research interests include:
- classical and higher homological algebra
- the representation theory of algebras
- category theory
His motivation often comes from phenomena in the theory of cluster algebras. Examples of structures he studies are: abelian, exact, triangulated and extriangulated categories and their higher counterparts known as n-abelian, n-exact, (n+2)-angulated and n-exangulated categories (n≥1). Furthermore, he is often motivated by phenomena arising in the representation theory of algebras, especially cluster algebras.
