City St George’s researchers can access and manage laboratory equipment across campuses using tools like the Labcup database. From centrifuges to autoclaves, shared resources are available to support experimental work and reduce unnecessary purchases.
Labcup Equipment Database
Labcup is laboratory equipment management system used by the City St George's to give up to date information on Equipment (Supplier, Brand, Model), its Location (JW Level, Corridor), Owner (University, Institute or Group owned) and helps researchers identify sources of equipment that might be available for short term projects instead of needing to purchase these.
In order to access University’s Labcup database, you will need to have an account or contact your Principal Investigator who may already be registered.
Labcup is managed by Priya Madhou and Ash Sameja.

Our centrifugation suite has a range of centrifuges covering preparative and ultracentrifugation needs. We have the ability to centrifuge large volumes ranging from 1000ml down to the 96 well plate (with all intermediate volumes).
