Join us for the next TANC (The Actuarial Network at City St George’s) event on May 19th, where Paul Sweeting will share insights from his career journey to the Middle East in his talk ‘Beyond Borders: The Secret to Becoming an International Actuary’.
In his talk, Paul will look at what it takes to be an international actuary, drawing on his career whilst living in the Middle East and his earlier experiences working with clients around the world.
About the Speaker:
Paul Sweeting is President-Elect of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the UK and Senior Adviser at Hassana Investment Company. Before this, he was a Professor of Actuarial Science at the University of Kent, prior to which he held several senior investment roles, including Head of Research at LGIM and Head of Strategy at JP Morgan Asset Management. As well as being based in the Middle East for the last seven years, Paul has spent much of his career working internationally with large institutions.
