About
Overview
Meg is a PhD student at the Centre for Food Policy as part of the UKRI-funded UK Food Systems Centre for Doctoral Training Programme. Her research draws on political economy/ecology and STS to explore governance, transparency, and sustainability in the UK's livestock feed supply chains. She is supervised by Dr Christian Reynolds (Centre for Food Policy), Prof Barbara Haesler (Royal Veterinary College), and Dr Rebecca Wells (Centre for Food Policy).
Prior to joining the Centre for Food Policy, Meg worked at the London-based charity Feedback (now Foodrise) as a development manager and senior researcher on industrial agri/aquaculture and alternative proteins. She also holds a Research MSc in International Development Studies from the University of Amsterdam (UvA). During her studies, she held (volunteer) positions at the Amsterdam-based NGO Both ENDS, the UvA's Centre for Sustainable Development Studies, and academic journal International Environmental Agreements: Politics, Law and Economics (INEA).
