Sarah Gale

Overview

Prior to joining City St George's, University of London in 1996, Sarah Gale worked as a solicitor in both London and Brussels having qualified as a solicitor in 1990 . She also worked at the European Commission in the Directorate General for Competition. Her research is in the fields of Human Rights, Tort and Media law. She is a contributor to the Tort Law Review and has presented several papers on Media Law and Tort Law at the Society for Legal Scholars' Annual Conference. 

Sarah is the Programme Director of the Graduate Diploma in Law.

Sarah teaches Tort Law, EU Law, Foundations of Legal Analysis and Media Law at City and has taught EU Law at the Institute for Law in Jersey. She is a Senior Marker for EU Law at the University of London International Academy and an Associate Examiner for Tort Law and EU Law.

Sarah is a member of the British Italian Law Association, the UK Association for European Law and the Society for Legal Scholars. She is also a fellow of the Higher Education Academy
