About
Overview
Michelle has been in the nursing profession for over 30 years, with the latter 10 in Higher Education and is currently in a joint post as Senior Lecturer in Community Nursing with East London Foundation Trust (ELFT). Her responsibilities include raising the profile of community nursing as a career choice and ensuring that nursing in the community has a presence within the curriculum.
Michelle has a passion for teaching both undergraduate and post graduate nurses with a particular focus on aspects of community and district nursing and primary care. She has an interest in psychological care and parity of esteem in healthcare, long-term conditions and self management.
In addition Michelle is a Registered Nurse, District Nurse and a Queen's Nurse.
