Overview
Edward Anstead is a senior lecturer in computer science and academic at City St George’s. he is also co-deputy head of the department. Prior to this Ihewas a lecturer and director of Undergraduate studies in the department of Computing at Goldsmiths University of London. Edward's research is in the field of Human Computer interaction (HCI). He has published work in world leading conferences and Journals, Edward has a strong interest in group practices, gamification, ethical research and e-learning. As a lecturer he has led modules in programming, software engineering and computer architecture. Currently Edward leads the IN3007 / INM450 Individual Projects module and INM438 Computing the User Experience from academic year 2026-27.
