Italian Elementary - Level 2 Course overview
Learn to converse with confidence. Whether you’re buying a holiday home in Italy or taking a road-trip along the Amalfi Coast, this course will equip you with helpful vocabulary for everyday conversation.
Topics include shopping for clothes, describing someone’s physical appearance or personality, expressing wishes and desires, and talking about childhood memories.
You’ll focus on the imperfetto tense, so you can talk about the past and how this differs from passato prossimo, which we will also revise.
Classes are taught mostly in Italian to immerse you fully in the language and sharpen your listening and comprehension skills. Newspaper articles, extracts from novels, film and audio clips are also used to add authenticity and context to your learning.
Who is it for?
You should have either completed our Italian beginners or equivalent; completed around 60 hours of prior formal learning; or be able to communicate at CEFR A1/A2 level.
