The Adult Assessment and Intervention Research (AAIR) group in the Centre for Language and Communication Science Research at the School of Health and Medical Sciences, City St George's, University of London is organising a Dysphagia Research event with Dr Jackie McRae.
Abstract
Dr McRae will be talking about her research and activities towards improving the early identification and management of swallowing difficulties (dysphagia) in people with acute cervical spinal cord injury (SCI).
This will cover existing clinical evidence, how the UK is unique in its service delivery, the thoughts of people with lived experience and why we need to be collecting data.
