Professor Costas Andriopoulos, Bayes Business School, Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Director of Bayes X and Associate Dean, MBA Programmes
Costas Andriopoulos is a Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Bayes Business School, City St George's, University of London. He is the author of numerous highly cited papers on innovation and the books Purposeful Curiosity (Hachette, 2022) and Managing Change, Creativity, and Innovation (co-authored, 5th Edition, Sage, 2025). At Bayes, he is the Associate Dean for MBA programmes and leads MSc, MBA, and Executive Education courses, encouraging learners to find solutions to big problems and take journeys into the unknown by starting new ventures or developing new products in large organizations. He also heads Bayes X (Research Center for Innovation and Disruption), one of the leading scholarly centers focusing on disruptive innovation.
Mr. Lefteris Veniamis, Chairman and President of the Board of Directors of Golden Union Shipping Company S.A.
Mr. Lefteris Veniamis, son of Theodoros, was born in Athens, Greece in November 1979. He holds a bachelor’s degree in management and business administration from the University of Reading (UK) and a master’s degree in shipping, trade and business finance from City University, London (UK).
Mr. Lefteris Veniamis leads, since 2001, the Operations and Chartering Departments of Golden Union Shipping Company S.A., is highly experienced in all aspects of shipping S&P and financing, and is currently the Chairman and President of the Board of Directors of Golden Union Shipping Company S.A.
Golden Union Shipping Company S.A. comprises one of the most well-established and highly reputable managers and operators of dry-bulk vessels, worldwide, for over 45 years, maintaining two (2) fully-fledged and operating offices, in Panama City and in Greece, respectively, currently managing a fleet of over 50 dry-bulk vessels.
Mr. Lefteris Veniamis is also the leader of all Veniamis family investments, by virtue of holding several managerial and decision-making positions in the various investments and joint ventures, of the Veniamis family, in areas such as ship-ownership (dry-bulk sector, wet sector and LNG bunkering sector), real-estate, transportation, pharmaceutical, warehousing, logistics, along with many other trading and holding entities.
He is married to Mrs. Kelly Veniami and he is the father of three (3) children.
