What support is there for neurodiverse students at City?
Abstract
Anna Whitelock, Dean of SCC will be opening this second event, where we will hear from students, staff and alumni, asking:
- How is neurodiversity an asset for creativity, creative thinking and imaginative solutions?
- What are the challenges faced by neurodiverse students in City and how do these relate to intersectionality?
- What is City doing – and what more could we do – to improve learning, teaching, experience, employability etc for neurodiverse students?
We will provide opportunities for all audience members to anonymously feed in suggestions for improving support for neurodiverse students and staff at City.
The event will include a short performance by Ruth Almodal as well as two songs by Bianca Baranova.
Panellists:
- Ruth Almodal (English, alumni)
- Bianka Baranova (Music, alumni)
- Charlie Jones (Music, 2nd year)
