Abstract
This session will explore how brands and media makers facilitate and monitor online engagement to grow their audience.
Led by Dr Ayesha Taylor-Camara, who is a content and audience researcher and lecturer in Media and Marketing Analytics, you'll gain insights into:
- How media makers facilitate different modes of engagement to not only gain our attention, but to keep us coming back.
- How the analytical data collected from our online media interactions are used to help brands and media makers grow their audience.
- How academic theory about audience engagement is translated into media industry practices.
This session showcases the types of media industry practices we explore on the MA Media and Communications programme that provide you with the knowledge and practical skills for developing a career within the media and creative industries.
It is open to those interested hearing about audience engagement, growing an online audience or intrigued to learn how the brands we interact with online use audience data to monitor and facilitate our engagement.
